Mount Fitz Roy rises majestically in the heart of Los Glaciares National Park. This rocky mountain is spectacular for both its sawtooth appearance and the beauty of the surrounding scenery, featuring snowy mountain passes and lush green plains. Several routes are available, allowing you to see Fitz Roy from different perspectives. The trails all start from El Chaltén, a village in which you can stay overnight if you plan to trek in this region.
Following the trail of Laguna Torre or Laguna de los Tres, wind through snowy paths between glaciers and mountain lakes. At the end of the trail, see the granite spire of Fitz Roy rising proudly between the mountains of the Patagonian range. The spectacle is even more impressive when the sun's rays illuminate Mount Fitz Roy and reflect on the lakes.
The Loma del Pliegue Tumbado itinerary is the most challenging, crossing through green landscapes in the middle of the forest right to the mountain summit.
