Day 1: Welcome to Croatia!

Day 2: Upper & Lower highlights tour

• Meet your guide for an unforgettable Zagreb sightseeing tour in an electric replica of legendary Ford model T

• Marvel at the Upper and Lower Town’s landmarks

Taste the very best of Croatian flavors such as cherry brandy “Sljivovica”, plum Rakija (schnapps), herbal Rakija with honey and some traditional finger food

• Do not to miss one of a kind Dolac Market, Zagreb’s bustling fruit and vegetable market

Day 3: Charming Opatija

Drive from Zagreb to Rovinj

• Stop in Opatija for a private walking tour of the town and chocolate sampling

• Enjoy a three course lunch at Bevanda restaurant

• Explore the romantic coastal town of Rovinj on your own. The narrow, winding, cobbled streets, crammed-together houses and picturesque squares make for a lovely afternoon

Visit the Church of St. Euphemia, an absolute must!

• For dinner we suggest Michelin rated - Monte. The cool, contemporary style of this softly lit, romantic restaurant comes as a contrast to the old town

• Overnight in Rovinj


Day 4: Vineyards and olive groves of Istria

• Today, visit a local family estate with an educational wine and olive course

Discover one of the most notable Istrian wine producers

Learn how olive oil is produced and why extra virgin oil is of the highest quality

• After the farm visit, head towards ancient Pula

• Upon arrival, meet your local expert for a private guided tour of Pula

• Return to Rovinj

Day 5: Charming towns & truffle hunt

• Set off on a tour of the Istrian peninsula

• Your first stop is Motovun, a captivating little town perched on a 277m hill in the Mirna River Valley

• Then, head for the nearby city of Buzet for a truffle hunt and tasting

• Lunch will be served at family tavern "Stari podrum", situated under the Momiano castle

• Continue to the town of Groznjan, known as a haven for artists

• Wander its cobbled alleys and discover numerous galleries and art studios

• Make an optional stop in Porec. Visit the town's Episcopal Complex of the Basilica, a UNESCO World heritage site dating back to 4th century!

• Return to Rovinj

Day 6: Stunning Plitvice Lakes

• Today, head for the highlight of any Croatia itinerary, the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site

Hiking on your own is the best way to explore Plitvice Lakes

16 cascading lakes and numerous waterfalls make up one of the greatest wonders of the world

 We recommend lunch in a traditional restaurant "Licka kuca“

 After Plitvice Lakes, continue towards Zadar

 Enjoy a beautiful sunset, with music in the background from Zadar’s Sea Organ

• Overnight in Zadar

Day 7: Zadar

Where Croatian culture begins...

Journey to the island Pag for a visit to a local family run cheese factory producing cheese since 1918!

• Visit the ancient olive groves at Lun, a true oasis and one of the most scenic corners of Pag island

• While on Pag, we recommend visiting Boškinac Wine hotel for a gourmet lunch prepared by one of the best chefs in Croatia (optional)

• Overnight in Zadar

Day 8: Ancient cities of Croatia

• Meet your driver and head towards Sibenik

• Stop at Bibich winery for a food and wine paring lunch

• Meet your guide and go for a private guided walking tour of Sibenik, a real architectural jewel (optional)

• Clamber up to the top of St Mihovil fortress for magnificent views – particularly impressive at sunset

• Continue towards Split


Day 9: Ancient traditions and modern living

• Spend the day at leisure exploring Split on your own

• Embark on the “Taste of Split” private guided tour (optional)

Visit the Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO protected World Heritage Site (optional)

• Meet your driver and head to Klis Fortress, situated on the eponymous hill (optional)

• Visit Stella Croatica, a family owned estate which produces traditional Dalmatian delicacies

• Enjoy a traditional Dalmatian lunch followed by a lecture from local expert / historian! (optional)
