The programme includes pleasant cycling through villages or sometimes on asphalt when there is no other way. The trip is scheduled so that sport activity will take up from morning till afternoon. Afterwards, cultural visits are planned (monasteries, fortresses, ...).

After breakfast, everybody on his bike for visiting the monastery complex of Kecharis. This important medieval educational centre was erected by the noble Armenian family. Then, we will continue cycling until the ropeway on Mount Teghenis where we can enjoy a picnic in nature. After lunch, let’s go visit the peninsula of Lake Sevan. Located at 2000 m above sea level, surrounded by mountains, it is the second biggest freshwater lake in the world, famous for its beauty. You will enjoy this visit with the monastery Sevanavank. Finally, you will have the time to enjoy and appreciate free time by the lake.
In the evening, you can have dinner at the restaurant just near the lake, where you can enjoy the pleasure of tasting the cooked fish of this beautiful lake.
Cycling distance 35km, amplitude 1750m- 1600m - 1950m.
After an early breakfast, we will start cycling to Noradouz, a cemetery of cross tones in a great number of unique khachkars, mostly of the 13th to 17th century. Then, we will take pleasure in breathing the pure air with a picnic in the nature. When the evening comes, we will go up to the town Martuni where we will have dinner. Homestay in Martuni.
Cycling distance 72km, amplitude - 2000m -1900m - 2000m.
Breakfast eaten, let’s now begin our journey by cycling towards the south of the country. On the way, we will see Selim Caravanserai, situated in the mountain pass, located on the ancient Silk Road 2410m above the sea level. After that, we will continue to visit the village Yeghegis, where an ancient cemetery and Zorats Church are located. This last is unique for its architecture among the Armenian churches. After, we arrive at the village Hermon where we will have dinner and overnight in cottages of Hermon (pool, sauna, gym).
Cycling distance 62km, amplitude - 2000m -2400m - 1500m.
After breakfast, we will go by bike towards the monastery of Noravank, a canyon flora which is very interesting and its preservation is of crucial importance, because you can find not only rare plants, but also an entire row of wild relatives of rare endemic cultivated plants there. It was also populated by one of the precious animals of the country that is currently missing: the Persian Leopard. Located in a deep gorge, the monastery is dominated by high mountains of exceptional beauty. Tired but dazzled by the beauty of the place, we will enjoy our lunch in Noravank and continue to the delightful village Chiva where a succulent dinner will be served. Homestay in Chiva.
In this 6th journey of visit, we will go cycling to the village Lousashogh, from where we will continue till Khor Virap where we will have a picnic. The landscape here is dominated by Mount Ararat (5165 m). The Monastery of Khor Virap is one of the sacred places of the Armenian Apostolic Church, where one can see the pit that that was the prison for Gregory the Illuminator, the first Armenian saint and founder of the Armenian Apostolic Church. After a visit, let’s move to the village Garni where the dinner will be served. Homestay in Garni.
Cycling distance 65km, amplitude – 1400m - 2050m - 900m.
As usual, we will go by bike towards the Pagan temple of Garni, the only remaining monument of the Hellenistic period in Armenia. The temple is dedicated to the God of the sun Mihra and was built in the 2nd half of the I century A.D.. Then, we will continue cycling towards the monastery of Gueghard, which was renamed Geghard, which means "lance", as the monastery was the depositary of one of the relics of the Armenian Apostolic church: the lance that one of the Roman guards had used to pierce the rib of crucified Christ. After lunch, we will move to Yerevan where we will enjoy dinner at the restaurant of this wonderful place. Overnight in a hotel in Yerevan.
Cycling distance 40km, amplitude – 1400m - 1750m - 1100m.
Yerevan is the capital and largest city of Armenia and one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Situated along the Hrazdna River, it is the administrative, cultural, and industrial centre of the country. Then, we will discover the Cascade, Opera, Republic Square, and visit the Matenadaran, a depositary of ancient manuscripts, research institute and museum located in Yerevan. It holds one of the world's richest depositories of medieval manuscripts and books which span a broad range of subjects, including history, philosophy, medicine, literature, art history and cosmography in Armenian and many other languages. After lunch in a restaurant, we will go to see and have free time at the famous Cognac Factory “Ararat”.
At the end of the day, we will have dinner in a folk restaurant. Overnight in a hotel in Yerevan.
This last day, you will be driven to the airport from where you can have a flight to bring you back home.
