My suggestion:
Choose a hotel near to the entrance to Petra in order to be able to walk to the site, but take the time to explore the village as well.
My review
During your trip around Jordan, you are bound to go to Petra, and will pass through Wadi Musa. This ancient Bedouin village has been transformed following the arrival of tourism, offering a range of hotels in every category.
