I must say that I love road trips, so I was a bit reluctant to follow an organised tour. But knowing the difficult conditions, I preferred the security of having guides who knew where we could stop to sleep, eat, etc. To sum up, a week being completely organised was truly relaxing and interesting.
The village of Agouim is situated near the Tichka pass, and is a stop for people travelling in 4x4s or motorbikes. It's a typical village but there isn't a much to see. I would say that its proximity to the Djebel Siroua mountain range, which peaks at 3300 metres of altitude, is the main reason for people to stop there. From the village, you can make the most of sumptuous views over the snow-capped mountains of the Atlas (if you come outside summer).
The tracks which connect Marrakech to Agouim and Agouim to Askaoun also offer incredible panoramic views.
