<p>I left the organization of our <strong>Mikumi Park safari</strong> to a local agent,  a service which was reasonably priced and meant we were able to relax and make the most of the experience. Despite having a small amount of time available, we go to see all kinds of animals. The beauty of the zebras, the gracefulness of the giraffes – it was all magical. However, we saw only a single lioness, and that was from a distance: if you want to see predators, it's best to visit the Serengeti.</p> <p>Some of the experiences that left an impression on me: two hundred buffalos drinking at a lake in the early morning, two elephants and their baby playing at spraying each other with water, some hippopotamuses that began calling raucously, and a crocodile that allowed us to approach closely as it enjoyed its siesta in the sun. I also loved the warthogs, which roam around in the high grass with their tails sticking vertically up. When the animals are absent, there are <strong>Park Mimumi's superb landscapes</strong> to contemplate, with mountains on the horizon and some impressive baobab trees.</p>
