Breakfast, proceed to visit the Desert Castles (Qasr Amra, Qasr Al Kharraneh, and Qasr Al Azraq) the castles were built between the 7th and the 8th century under the caliph’s of the Umayyad who made Damascus their new capital in 661. The majority of the castles lie on the ancient trade route towards Medina and Kufa. Jordan’s desert castles, beautiful examples of both early Islamic art and architecture. Their fine mosaic and frescoes, stone and stucco carvings inspired by the best Persian and Greco – Roman traditions. Called castles because of their imposing statue, the desert complexes actually served various purposes as caravan stations, agriculture and trade centers, resort pavilions and outposts that helped distant rulers forge ties with local Bedouins.
Back to Amman for a City Tour, the ancient and modern capital of Jordan, originally built on seven hills and from the top of the citadel, one of the highest hills; you can have a splendid view of the old city. Visit the Citadel, Roman Theater, Archeological, Folklore Museums, and King Abdullah Mosque. Follow back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast, proceed to visit Jerash, a tour through the colonnaded street, amphitheater, Churches, temples and the vast Roman Forum. The best preserved Roman City Gerasa, which is called Jerash today, and known also as the city of a 1.000 pillars. The city golden age come under the Roman rule and the site is now generally acknowledged to be one of the best preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. Hidden for centuries in sand before being excavated and restored over the past 70 years, Jerash revels a fine example of the grand, formal provincial urbanism that is found throughout the Middle East. Continue to Ajloun, proceed through pine forests and olive groves to visit the mighty Castle of Ajloun, the Castle is the major ancient monument within the Ajloun region. it was built by one of Saladin’s generals in 1184 AD to control the local iron mines of Ajloun and to counter the progress of the Crusaders by dominating the tree main routes leading to the Jordan Valley and protecting the communication routes between Jordan and Syria. Back to Amman hotel for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast, transfer to the lowest spot on earth, 398m (1306 ft.) below sea level - the Dead Sea. Time for leisure and swimming. Enjoy the bizarre but delightful experience of floating" on the surface of buoyant waters, nine times saltier than regular sea water. Therapeutic water of the Dead Sea, combined with the valley’s fertile land and warm climate, have attracted people to live, hunt and farm in the area since the Stone Age. Continue to visit the Sanctuary at Mount Nebo the (Memorial burial place of Prophet Moses). Mont Nebo is the place where Moses viewed the holy land of Canaan. Mont Nebo’s first church was built in the late fourth century to mark the site. Madaba (City of Mosaics), where you will see the unique map of the Holy Land in St. George Church 6th C. AD. Madaba and its hinterlands were repeatedly mentioned in the Old Testament as Madaba. Dinner and overnight at Madaba hotel.
Breakfast, go to Karak from the ancient Kings’ Highway to the east or from the Dead Sea to the west, the striking silhouette of this fortified town and castle will instantly make you understand why the fates of kings and nations were decided over there. An ancient Crusader stronghold, Karak sits 900m (2,952 ft.) above sea level and lies inside the walls of the old city. Kerak’s best – reserved halls and passageways are located underground and can only be reached through a massive door. The city of Kerak was the ancient capital of Moab. During the Roman times it was known as Characomba. visit the Little Petra ( Beidah ) – only in 10km (6.2mile) distance from Petra Late afternoon arrive to Petra, Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
