Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu. Here you will meet our representative, who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of our representatives.

Day 2: Panoramic views of Himalayan peaks

After breakfast we will drive to Pokhara. It is around 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m. This enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. We will check into the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a stroll along the banks of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue waters.

Day 3: Trek to Australian Camp

After breakfast we will escort you to Phedi, from where we begin the trek to Australian Camp. Australian Camp offers spectacular views of Annapurna Himalayan ranges, Mt. Fishtail, Dhaulagiri and many more.

Day 4: Discover the wonders of Forest Camp

After breakfast we will continue trekking to Pothana village and the Mordi river. We will have lunch at Deurali, and from there we will follow a trail through pine forests and different landscapes. Today we pass through stunning rhododendron forests, and you will see and hear many types of bird along the way. Since this is a new trekking route, you will find no tea house in between.

Day 5: Wilderness and rhododendron forests 

Today we will experience the thrill of walking in the total wilderness of thick forests covered with rhododendrons. Most of the trees are covered with mosses and lichen. When the forest opens out, you will see stunning mountain scenery in the direction of Hiunchuli and Annapurna South. On the left side far below lies the Modi Khola Valley. As you approach the camp, you will experience captivating views of the northern face of Mt Fishtail before you settle for the night in a pleasant guest house.

Day 6: Low Camp and High Camp

Today takes us from Low Camp to High Camp, passing by views of various snow-capped mountains such as South Annapurna, Himchuli, Mt. Fishtail and villages such as Chhomrong, Ghandruk and Annapurna. Tonight we will stay at High Camp, a small pasture above the clouds and close to the peaks.

Day 7: Mardi Base Camp 

The most thrilling day of the Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek, with the ascent to the base camp. Most of the day will be spent walking on a pebble path, following in the footsteps of the yaks. It takes 4 hrs to reach base camp of Mardi Himal, which is located at the bottom of Fishtail. Today offers amazing views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Flute Peak, Mt. Hiuchuli, sacred mountain Machhapuchhare and Manaslu with its massive canyon.

Day 8: Descending to Forest Camp

Start the day right with a view of the sunrise in the mountains, and then spend the day descending towards Forest Camp.

Day 9: Jungle walk to Jhinuwa

Today’s journey from Forest camp to Jhinuwa passes through the jungle. A short climb above Jhinuwa, you can relax and unwind in a hot spring bath!

Day 10: Ghandruk Village

After breakfast we will walk to Ghandruk, which is the village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal. The Gurung people have their own dialect, typical culture, costume, and lifestyle.

Day 11: Hire a boat and visit Barahi temple

We will walk straight to Nayapool from Ghandruk. From Nayapool there is a 1 and 1/2 hour drive to Pokhara. We will check into the hotel and rest for a while after the days of trekking! In the evening, why not strolling around Phewa Lake, hire a boat and visit Barahi Temple in the middle of the lake?

Day 12: Sightseeing at Pokhara

Today we will do half a day of sightseeing and visit Pokhara’s traditional old bazaar, Bindhyabasini Temple, Gupteshower Cave, popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits, and Devi’s Fall. Later you can hire a boat at Phewa Lake and take a short hike to World Peace Pagoda for around 45 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful view of Pokhara city and Himalayan views from Stupa.

Day 13: Way back to Kathmandu

Today we will drive back to Kathmandu and check into the hotel, where you will be offered a refreshment after the journey. In the evening, you have free time to wander around the city.

Day 14: Kathmandu sightseeing

After breakfast, start a full day of sightseeing at UNESCO heritage sites. Visit Bouddhanath, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage sites, and Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of the Bagmati River. This "extensive Hindu temple precinct" is a sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries. You will also visit Patan Durbar Square, which is a distinct place for arts and architecture. Here you can see temples, monuments and palaces built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. The rest of the day is free for you to explore!

Day 15: Departure day

Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight our representative will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
