The Small Cyclades have recently been opened up to tourists but they're still relatively uncrowded and I was able to find many quiet harbours and sandy areas. I have excellent memories of this wild and rocky coast with its beautiful beaches. The island's interior is just as wonderful. The small Cyclades are great for hiking. If that's what you want to do, I'd advise going to the islands of Irakleia and Donousa. They're beautiful and you can walk around them in a day. If you're looking for the most beautiful coves that you can possibly find while on holiday in Greece, head to Koufonisia. If you're after beaches, my best memories are the ones on Schoinousa.
