Located 370km from La Paz, Cochabamba is the country's third largest city. The climate never fails to impress visitors who often choose to stay in Cochambamba longer than originally planned.

My suggestion:
Cochabamba is home to the biggest market in Bolivia, right next to the station. It's held daily but I'd advise going on a Wednesday or a Saturday when the entertainment is at its best.
My review

While on holiday in Bolivia, I stopped off at the pretty city of Cochambamba. Initially, I didn't find it particularly interesting. Sure, it's beautiful. But it was no more or no less beautiful than other Bolivian towns and cities. But despite standing 2,500 metres above sea level, its warm climate invites you to stay a bit longer.

My advice to you would be to take your time here. Stroll along the streets, take a seat, and watch the locals go about their daily life. You should definitely go to the markets. Make sure you visit La Cancha market. It's the biggest one in Bolivia and the entertainment is great. Surrounded by classic clothing and vegetable stands, you can roam the aisles of gifts selling llama fetuses and lots of other oddities.
