Bodø is the second largest town in the north of Norway. It is on a peninsula.

My suggestion:
Have a drink in one of the hotels with panoramic views.
My review

I loved the lcoation of Bodø which stretches along a coast. I visited the cathedral which has typically Norwegian architecture. And of course I visited the famous "biggest chestnut on the Arctic circle". The port is also very lively. I had a pleasant break there, near the boats, trying to observe some sea eagles.

Bodø 's location makes it an unmissable crossroads for any trip to the north of Norway. From there you can get to the Lofoten Islands by boat or plane. I also liked the town's natural surroundings which I could see from the panoramic platform. It's the town's best feature because, compared to other towns in Norway, it doesn't have anything in particular to recommend it.
