Reviews of Ginza

Ginza is a district in the centre of Tokyo that is especially renowned for its luxury boutiques.

My suggestion:
Even if Ginza is worth a visit, I don't recommend spending more than a few hours there - unless you have the money to spend on its prestigious brand names!
My review

After a morning stroll through Tsujiki market, known for its fish stalls, head to Ginza. This district is built in the style of a large European city and is especially known for its "chic" side. Don't forget to take a photograph of the pretty taxis parked on the main avenue.

While you are in Ginza, I really recommend paying a visit to the "Sony Building". I loved climbing the floors of this building, which is more like a museum than a shop! It is a very interactive visit, since you can try out all the latest products of the brand. A pleasant memory of my stay in Japan.

What's more, there's no end of good restaurants in this district of Tokyo, even if they might try to hurry you up at lunchtime.
