Day 3: Pyramid Overlook Trail Hike

Your first hiking experience in the Canadian Rockies is named Pyramid Overlook Trail

With a maze of trails to navigate on Pyramid Bench, we have picked several of our favorite and turned them into a lovely loop.

You’ll be able to catch spectacular views and witness wildlife while remaining close to town.

A trail of solitude, even on the busiest of days in the summer.During the afternoon we suggest a cruise on Maligne lake.

Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, glacier-fed Maligne Lake is world-renowned for its beauty and is home to world-famous Spirit Island.

Day 4: Bald Hills Trail Hike

Today will be on the Bald Hills trail, a full day of hiking.

Travel up the amazing Maligne Valley to the trailhead at Maligne Lake. The trail starts out on an old fire road, before it climbs up above tree-line and into the alpine.

It is moderately steep in places and spectacularly beautiful in views in the alpine, a favorite.

We include the picnic during the journey.

Day 5: Edith Cavell Meadows Hike

Our last hiking experience in Jasper National park is on the Edith Cavell Meadows trail

This steep but well graded trail takes you through the flowered subalpine into the rocky alpine for ethereal views and tales of war and ice ages past.

This hike is a must-see in Jasper, but is only available from mid-July onwards.

We suggest also experiencing the Jasper Skytram. The Jasper SkyTram whisks you up Whistlers Mountain to an elevation of 2,263 meters, showing you stunning views over mountain ranges.

On a clear day, you can even see the white pyramid of Mount Robson in nearby British Columbia.

Day 6: Road Trip to Banff & Lake Louise

Continue the discovery of the Rockies going across the scenic drive of the magnificent Columbia Icefields on your way to Lake Louise.

This park is where we find one of the largest accumulations of ice and snow of the southern Arctic, formed by 8 important glaciers.
One of the most impressive glaciers being the Athabasca Glacier.

We suggest you take on a Snowcoach adventure to see the glaciers up close!Admire the beautiful colored water of Bow and Peyto Lakes before witnessing one of the most beautiful place in the world, Lake Louise.

Day 7: Rocky Mountain National Park Hike

Today will be you first hiking experience from Banff.

We have selected what we consider the best of the best when it comes to getting out there and spending time in the backcountry of the Rocky Mountain National Parks.

From the explosion of wildflowers in the spring, to the clear glacier views in the summer, to the brilliant golden of the larch trees in the fall, hiking in the Rockies should not be missed.

Our Interpretive Guides’ priority is having a safe, fun and informative tour that connects you more to where you are visiting. We hike in small groups which is recommended for safety to reduce wildlife encounters.

Hiking time is between four and six hours, which includes an alpine picnic lunch.

Day 9: Final Day of Hiking & Departure

Start your day by visiting Moraine Lake, named after the moraines deposited by the Wenkchemna glacier.

Moraines are an accumulation of debris (rocks, pebbles, pebbles, sand) shaped during the melting of the glaciers and thus gives these lake outstanding blue-colored reflections.

Head to the airport to catch your return flight. Return the rental car - and thank you for joining us on this Rocky Mountain adventure!
