Çınarcık (Turkey)

I love this tourist city which is still relatively unknown among foreign tourists. Easily accessible from Istanbul, it's the perfect location to enjoy the sea during a week and to get away from the summer heat and turmoil of the large city. Only 1h30 from Istanbul by boat, it's easily accessible to spend a few hours there.

During the day, in Cinarcik, you can bathe and take advantage of cafes with a view of the sea whilst playing Okey, a local game, and whilst drinking tea. In the evening, after eating in one of the city's small restaurants, you must walk along the beach, where you will find shops, cafes and restaurants, whilst snacking on sunflower seeds or eating ice cream.
