The most exclusive destination in Cappadocia, Urgup is a pretty, modern, troglodytic village which is devoted to luxury tourism.
My suggestion:
Whilst you are in Urgup in Cappadocia, try the excellent local wine, which you can often get straight from the producers.
My review
If you're looking for a destination that marries the feeling of a traditional Cappadocian village to a more modern town life, with luxury hotels, stores, gastronomic restaurants, and other night life, then I advise you to stay in Urgup during your stay in Cappadocia. If you prefer a more traditional and authentic place, then pass it by.

Ürgüp is a little tourist village in Cappadocia, Turkey. There are lots of troglodyte hotels and restaurants, all of which can cater for groups of tourists.
My suggestion:
If you don't mind heights and want to get a stunning, panoramic view, you can take a hot air balloon tour!
My review
I spent a day and night in this little village - the perfect place from which to explore Cappadocia. After spending a day exploring surrounding troglodyte churches and fairy chimneys, Ürgüp is a great place to relax and unwind. I even paid a visit to the local Turkish baths - what better way to ease your muscles after hiking through this strange, compelling landscape?
