At 335 km from Arusha, the vast plains of the Serengeti stretch across nearly 15,000 km 2.

My suggestion:
Don't miss seeing the sun rise and set. The wildebeest migration takes place between December and July.
My review

Can you imagine visiting Tanzania without going on a safari? No way. Most tours take you from Lake Manyara to Tarangire, via the Ngorongoro and the amazing, mythical Seregenti.

Lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, gazelles, zebras, hippos, buffaloes, hyenas...the incredible variety of animals is what makes the Serengeti the most popular and most visited of the Tanzanian game parks. Visiting Tanzania is one of the best things you could do, just like the thousands of other tourists who go there every year. Here, you'll see that the wildlife never stands still; it follows an unrelenting rythym around the clock.

Don't miss the best show in the Serengeti - the annual migration of over a million wildebeest. Herds, that are sometimes 40 km long, confront predators, crossing rivers infested with crocodiles, in order to reach the plains of the Masai Mara in Kenya.
