Twyfelfontein is a very lovely site,  not to be missed during a trip to Namibia , that has superb rock etchings dating back 2000 to 2500 years, that you can discover in the course of a lovely walk.

The second city of the country is much more pleasant than the capital, Windhoek. Its location by the sea gives it a more care-free and relaxed atmosphere. For me, it’s the most beautiful city in the country.

All the way in the north of Namibia the Kunene River is one of the rare rivers that is not dried up and that really has a good hydrometry level.

<p>After having travelled a very difficult and chaotic road, I come to a lodge <strong> located on the bank of the Kunene</strong>. Here, desert Namibia seems forgotten in the middle of a luxuriant forest and a river overflowing with water!</p>
<p><strong> For two days on the bank of Kunene River </strong> the programme boiled down to moments of lounging around, rafting and ending up in the water a few times, followed by a sundowner in a boat, on the river. There, I learn that there are crocodiles, and I can see and hear them! A few hours earlier, I was in these same waters! Apparently, crocodiles do not like the swirling parts so I could swim without fear... It is better to find this out after swimming, as I am not sure I would have done so after all!  </p>
