Twyfelfontein is a very lovely site,  not to be missed during a trip to Namibia , that has superb rock etchings dating back 2000 to 2500 years, that you can discover in the course of a lovely walk.

<p><strong>I came to Kaokoland</strong> mainly to meet members of the Himba tribes who live here. There are organisations who arrange guided visits, I joined on to a group and I went to the homeland of a Himba family. We got to see how they live, and they shared the activities of their daily lives with us, which I managed to do more or less!</p><p>This arranged meeting gave us the opportunity for exchange and dialogue during the brief visit. &nbsp;</p><p>On leaving the Himba family, <strong>I cross Kaokoland</strong> and continue north where the condition of the roads becomes steadily worse. It takes me several hours to travel just sixty kilometres. I head for the Kunene river.&nbsp;</p>
