It's a striking place when you first see it: the jeep drops you off at the edge of an area of mountains and seemingly endless valleys, and within them are hundreds of colossal palm trees, some of which reach as much as 70 metres in height! <strong>The Corcora valley's palm trees</strong> have long been used as the emblem for the region, and actually seeing them up close is a thrilling experience.</p> <p>The walk itself can be done without a guide and takes around five hours. Along it you'll traverse valleys and mountains, pass through areas of dense forests and cross some precariously shaky bridges.
