Located less than two hours from Johannesburg by plane, Cape Town is in every respect South Africa's most interesting city.

My suggestion:
Safety is not an issue during the day. Exploring the various different areas on foot is a pleasure.
My review

If there's one negative thing to say about visiting South Africa, it's that you don't feel as if you're actually in Africa when you're in its large cities! But don't worry, this fault can be entirely forgiven in Cape Town.

Whether admiring it from the heights of the surrounding mountains or seeing it from the ocean, the city offers a magnificent panorama in all directions. Culturally effervescent, historically fascinating and uniquely beautiful, Cape Town is a place that's guaranteed to delight you. Just breathing in the atmosphere of Long Street or strolling along the waterfront is enough to tell you that this is indeed a lively city.

I recommend spending some time exploring each of its various districts, especially the very colourful Bo-Kaap. Looking for interesting excursions? There's a wide range of things to do just outside the city. Vineyard tours, hikes on Table Mountain, an excursion to the Cape of Good Hope, the chance to learn all about the story of Nelson Mandela on Robben Island … I simply adore Cape Town!

A cosmopolitan town that has a fun, festive feel.

My suggestion:
You'll love the laid back atmosphere of this town and really enjoy exploring its streets! You'll come across lots of interesting sights and sounds in the town.

I spent 5 amazing days in Cape Town. You can easily explore the town centre by foot. In just a few minutes, you can walk from the centre's skyscrapers to the calm, quiet Company's Garden and then along to buzzing Long Street or the brightly coloured houses in the Bo-Kaap quarter.
One of the town's many sights.

Large cosmopolitan city by the coast in the southernmost part of Africa.

My suggestion:
Check out the programme for classical music concerts in the famous City Hall.
My review

Cape Town is a very distinctive city, which sometimes gives you the feeling that you are not in South Africa. This city, the southernmost city in Africa, possesses a charm that is a big magical in this area at the world's end on the southern tip of Africa.

I particularly liked the region around Cape Town, which was very wild and spectacular. Don't miss out on a visit to the famous Boulders National Park. With a bit of luck, you could go swimming with penguins and sea lions! Unforgettable during a trip to South Africa.

Lovers of water sports will be satisfied. The city offers a large range of activities: surfing, sailing, kitesurfing, scuba diving, etc.
