Located at about six hours from Johannesburg by road (it's also possible to get there by plane), Kruger is THE national park to visit in South Africa.

My suggestion

Try to be there at sunrise and/or sunset if possible. The chances of seeing the animals is higher.

Keep your eyes open and take your time. You'll spot rare animals at the least expected moment!
