<p>I chose to spend a month in this reason as it offers possibilities for adventure and discovery The places that I would recommend most are: the Drakensberg mountains, the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Reserve and the surrounding area of St Lucia village. The road network is dense and well maintained. I didn't have any problems finding my way and I appreciated crossing through green scenery sprinkled with multicoloured Zulu huts. <br></p>
<p><strong>The Kwazulu Natal is incidentally a great place to discover the Zulu culture.</strong> However, I didn't like the reconstructions of villages at all, they welcomed entire buses of tourists. I thought they resembled a "human zoo" where the people caricature their own traditions. If you wish to meet Zulus and learn a bit about their culture, it is enough, for example, for you to go to the terrace of a café to chat with the locals.</p>
