My suggestion

As in many Mexican cities, you can get around Oaxaca on foot. Take the time to wander round the streets of its center, where you're bound to encounter some unexpected wonders.

Oaxaca is a pretty colonial town that is 500 km from Mexico City. Lots of tourists are attracted to it because of its great atmosphere and good climate. Its surroundings are also magnificent. Go to Oaxaca!

My suggestion

Mole Poblano from Puebla or mole Oaxaqueño from Oaxaca? They are both delicious! Try them and judge for yourself.

A pretty, colonial town which is situated in the mountains of the state of the same name, in the south-west of Mexico. It's also one of the country's most cultural destinations, with excellent food and lots of local folklore.

My suggestion

If you have an extra day, go visit Hierve el Agua and enjoy its amazing geological formations.
