The Red Sea is one of the best diving spots in the world.
My suggestion:
The further you get from Aqaba and its port, the more interesting the seabed becomes. If you have never dived with a club you can still discover the seabed with a snorkel on the beaches to the south of the town.
My review
What's great about the Red Sea is that you don't have to be a seasoned diver to have access to some exceptional seabeds. With just a simple snorkel you can see a multitude of fish of all colors, shapes, and sizes, just a few meters from the shore.
