Cerro San Lorenzo, also known as Cerro Cochrane in Chile, is a 3,700 m high mountain that straddles the frontier between Argentina and Chile. The Argentine side of the mountain is in the department of Rio Chico, in the province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia. Cerro San Lorenzo is one of the highest peaks in this exceptional region.
If you go to the Perito Moreno National Park then Cerro San Lorenzo is very near by. Like most of the mountains that I saw during my <a href="/argentina/">trip to Argentina</a>, Cerro San Lorenzo's peak is snow covered and the mountain, which overlooks Lake Posadas, is covered in glaciers.
