Argentina is a great country to visit: so many wonderful sights , friendly people and great food at excellent value prices. The local guides were excellent especially the one we had on the 15k walk in El Chalten : kept the group going at a good pace. The arrangements such as pick ups all worked well with just one minor hiccup with one hotel which gave us a double bed rather than twin beds but was able to rectify the next day.
Best parts:
The highlights were the Perito Merino Glacier , the Iguazu falls and seeing penguins on an island in the ********channel.
Worst parts:
It was a lot of travelling , but still that’s what you have to do to get to see the great natural wonders

We loved the whole trip to Argentina, but the highlight was Patagonia - superb throughout. The local guides were knowledgeable and generally spoke excellent English.
Best parts:
Overall organisation, being met at airports, excellent support from local agent
Worst parts:
Not much. Some hotels were average, but we had only booked 3* accommodation

I enjoyed every location. The variety across Chile and Argentina from the volcanic north to the Patagonian south was stunning. All of the tours were great. Highlight would be Perito Moreno Glacier walk which was out of this world. The organisation of things was seemless and I felt well looked after.
Best parts:
The organisation was great. Arriving at each location, receiving a detailed itinerary was great. The tours, especially the Perito Moreno Glacier tour were amazing. The local agency kept in touch via WhatsApp which was very helpful.
Worst parts:
Two of the hotels were not great for different reasons: Costaustralis in Puerto Natalas - poor service and employee attitude Xelena in Calafate - not up to the quoted 5 stars

The hotel was very relaxing with a lovely breakfast. My family enjoyed the pool and the garden. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is perfect--very close to the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants. It was also fun to walk around the neighbourhood and see all the different houses.
Best parts:
The people, the hotel location, the food, the beach, the weather.
Worst parts:
It was too short!

We flew from Buenos Aires to La Bara, Uruguay. We were met by an English speaking guide who did a great job filling us in on where to eat and shop. The Posada de los Pajaros hotel staff were very accommodating, allowing us to eat a brunch when we arrived. For our entire time on the property staff were ideal and the property is immaculate with a wonderful view of the beach and a swimming pool always kept at the perfect temperature. Breakfasts are very good, with plenty of continental choices of pastry, meats, cheeses and breads.
Best parts:
Oleksandra, our agent, did a great job finding us the perfect travel and accommodations. The flight was short and comfortable, the overland travel was quick and friendly, and the hotel was ideal, quiet, near the beach and family friendly. Staff were courteous and knowledgable. Would be happy to book from Oleksandra again.
Worst parts:
No complaints.

Great trip despite a little miscommunication around a couple of excursions. Spent a lot of time in buenos aires so next time will make sure to spend more time in countryside. I'd be interested in potentially going back next year for Iguazu and Bariloche.
Best parts:
Very well organized by Shandra. Found the Argentines very nice and hospitable
Worst parts:
Miscommunication around a couple of excursions. Should have booked a 3-4 day trek to have more time outside. I would not recommend doing business with Ryan's travel in El Calafate.

A journey through magnificent, even breathtaking, scenery both during the tour around Salta, Cafayate, Purmamarca and the extraordinary Iguazu falls. Villages and small towns such as Salta, Cafayate, Cachi and Humahuaca were very pleasant places to see though the itinerary does not give much time to visit them. We particularly enjoyed Cafayate and Humahuaca. Our time in Purmamarca was much spoilt by an unpleasant situation with our hotel accommodation.
Best parts:
Excellent guides in Salta, Iguazu Falls and Buenos Aires. Beautiful scenery throughout.
Worst parts:
Long journeys on difficult roads. One poor accommodation and unhelpful staff at the hotel Casa de Adobe in Purmamarca. It did spoil our stay there.

All of Argentina, in particular, Mendoza and Bariloche are spectacular! Chile exceeded my expectations for sure. Both countries offer remarkable beauty and friendly people. The local guides were all amazing! Super friendly, accomodating and extremely knowledgeable.
Best parts:
From the time i started planning the trip, dealing with Oleksandra, my local agent, was a pleasure. She was extremely accomodating and very professional. Every aspect of the trip was well planned and executed by all involved, including an extra tour of the City of Mendoza added at the end.
Worst parts:
I think the only thing i would change was the transfer by bus from Mendoza to Santiago de Chile. This was a public type of transportation with lack of cleanliness in the bus and the station in Santiago was a zoo. Would have liked to have been given the option of going in a private transfer even if we had to pay a little more. I would definitely not recommend this bus company to anyone booking a private tour through Evaneos.

Patagonia was just as beautiful and magical as I had imagined. My three favorite parts of the trip were 1) horseback riding solo with a guide in El Calafate at sunset, 2) trekking on Perito Moreno, and 3) walking around with the Penguins in Tierra Del Fuego.
Best parts:
It felt like each of my excursions were the best of the best! There were many times were other folks on different excursions were just looking at things through a bus window, for example, and I always found myself actually experiencing the places and activities. All of my guides were awesome, as well. My hotels were clean, friendly, and had great food. They were each centrally located such that it was easy for me to walk anywhere I needed to go within the city. My agent, Lucas, was incredibly helpful. He was always available prior to the trip to answer my frequent questions and requests to change or edit my itinerary. He was dedicated to helping me plan the best trip for my needs, timeline, and budget. I never felt like he was trying to get me to spend more money than I was comfortable with. He was very prompt in his replies and thorough in his responses. He made sure that my dietary needs were met on the trip, too, ensuring that guides knew I had Celiac disease and needed to eat gluten free. While on the trip, he was still very responsive and available - responding quickly to texts and emails if I had a question or concern. I would absolutely book with Lucas and his local agency again, and I will definitely be booking with Evaneos again! As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and well taken care of, which freed me up to experience the trip more fully.
Worst parts:
My only complaint is that due to a delayed domestic flight on my final day, I almost missed my international flight home. While this obviously couldn't be helped by the agency, in hindsight I think I probably should have been booked on an earlier domestic flight as it cut things really close.

El Calafate glaciar is a beauty and an experience that is well above what pictures can show Wine experience tour in Mendoza was superlative. Buenos Aires offered endless activities each day and evening.
Best parts:
Our local agents were extremely efficient, absolutely flexible to adapt plans to our requests and needs, helped us even to provide services which were not originally in our plans, and followed up with us on real time through the whole trip to ensure everything worked perfectly. They could not have given us any better service!
Worst parts:
There was not one single problem in our trip - except some political street demonstrations which make our tours change a bit..

Destinations pretty much all amazing. Enjoyed the public bus going over theAndes from Purmamarca to San Pedro de Atacama. The Iguaçú Falls and Perito Moreno glacier probably the highlights- but Purmamarca and the valley of Calchaquies, and the Torres de Paine, also brilliant. Richard’s highlight was walking Fitzroy / El Chalten.
Best parts:
Lucas- excellent communication, prompt and courteous, even when we were being a bit concerned about something. Good overall organisation- eg transfers always there and on time Good overall planning - eg amount of time in each place, and the selection of places to visit ( which were amazing) The hotels in Cafayate, Purmamarca, Santiago and Puerto Natales. All the staff in all the hotels were great. Some guides were excellent- the 2 Edwardos in Cafayate, Ignacio in San Pedro, Roberto in Santiago, and Andreos in Ushuaia
Worst parts:
Arriving late afternoon in a new place and finding the hotel room disappointing- eg arrived in Salta on a grey Saturday ( unbeknownst to us , at siesta time). The first Almeria room in particular. Frustrating to know there were good views to be had, but we were in a back room, looking out on air conditioning units. Same in Punta Arenas. The Ushuaia hotel had good views ( albeit at the back) when the weather cleared. Sierra Nevada, San Pedro and the one in El Chalten, were well located, adequate, but again there were no views.

Our trip started in Buenois Aries, then to Iquazu Falls, To Cordoba, to Mendosa then back to Buenos Aries. The trip was 18 days in duration. 1. Buenos Aries. We had a guide for two of the first three days. Max, was very good at reading our wishes providing insite and history to our tour. Never did we have to be concerned about the car being there and available. The two half days of service was just the right amount of time. We were then able to explore by ourselves in the afternoon and evening. Dinning was amazing—La Estansia, and Tango dinner—beef and wine. 2. Iquazu Falls. Were met at the airport by Roxanne. She spent the next two half days helping use see the falls. Made getting to the Brazil side easy. The “Falls” are----. Puerto Iquazu was a great town to explore by ourselves. “Seven corners”, The “Three country monument”, and diner at De la Fonte were quite memorable. 3. Cordoba. The dove hunting was fantastic. Most memorable was the Puma that shared the hunt eating the shoot birds. The guides and lodge was great. 4. Mendoza. Gustoff met us at the airport and spent the next two half days with us. I really liked the selection of wineries he chose for our tour. It was a wonderful mix of old and new wineries. The ones selected for lunch were great meals. I would recommend the trip to the wineries outside of town in the higher valleys. We were always met at the airport. I only had concern once that we may not be picked-up. That was only a communication problem. I was skeptical about tourist services because of my independence. I am no longer skeptical. They really provided the necessary details.
Best parts:
Beef, wine and more beef and wine. Iquazu Falls. Dove hunting. Mendoza wine touring. Tango San Martin.
Worst parts:
United Airlines has no concept of customer.

Go to Ushauia first! The World’s End! See nature and enjoy a great little town. Then El Calafate to see the Glaciers. Awesome. We then went to Buenos Aires. What a great city. Great food, architecture, shopping, and people. Take a city tour. And if you want more, take an Architecture tour. And of course, do a Tango experience. Skip the dinner/Tango show and hire someone to take you to a real Tango Bar! The locals are friendly and accepting of first time Tango dancers!
Best parts:
Wow! Had no idea how great Argentina is to visit! Great things to see, and do. The people a great! Even though servers and taxi drivers didn’t speak english, they were still friendly and tried really hard to help us. Some of our best dinners were with servers with no english! Awesome. On food....BBQ at new level! You can only experience. Pannonia Lamb is a must, and the beef is fantastic! An absolute must is to visit El Calafate for boat tour of the Glaciers and a trek on the Glacier. It’s an experience you’ll never forget!
Worst parts:
We didn’t spend enough time in Argentina, and missed going to the falls and wine region. An excuse to come again!
