Lak Lake is a lake in the Dak Lak region, close to Buôn Ma Thuột, in central Vietnam's High Plateaus.

My suggestion:
You can do a tour around the lake by motorbike but some parts are perilous, particularly if it has rained. If you have enough time, go by foot.
My review

During my holiday in Vietnam, I headed out of Buôn Ma Thuột and spent a day with friends at Lak Lake. An enjoyable, countryside motorbike ride will get you to the lake in about an hour. You'll find yourself in stunning surroundings. The lake is circled by mountains and bright green paddy fields, dotted with workers from neighbouring villages.

After my tour around Lak Lake, I happened upon an elephant and, after a few failed attempts, managed to get some great shots. So, don't forget to take your camera! We finished our visit with a pleasant cold drink, whilst lazing on the river bank. And once refreshed, it was time to head back to town. Worth noting that if you want to cross a lake by elephant during your time in Vietnam, you can do so here!
