Reviews of Hoa Binh

75 km from Hanoi in the direction of Dien Bien Phu, Hoa Binh is a small town with absolutely nothing worth seeing.

My suggestion:
Just don't stop there. There is nothing to do and little to see. Don't bother to get off the bus, just keep going.
My review

When I arrived at Hoa Binh during my trip to Vietnam the first thing that I asked myself was what I could do there. Not only are there almost no hotels but the town is quite ugly and charmless.

If for one reason or another you find yourself stuck here, I suggest you kill time by visiting the hydroelectric dam or by climbing the hill to admire the big statue of Ho Chi Minh. With a bit of time in front of me, I decided to explore the surrounding countryside. I met the Muong there. There are also Dzao but fewer of them.

I must admit I don't have any other ideas to suggest, apart from taking a bus and leaving.
