I particularly liked the region around Cape Town, which was very wild and spectacular. Don't miss out on a visit to the famous Boulders National Park. If there's one negative thing to say about <a href="/south-africa/">visiting South Africa</a>, it's that you don't feel as if you're actually in Africa when you're in its large cities! Just breathing in the atmosphere of Long Street or strolling along the waterfront is enough to tell you that this is indeed a lively city. I recommend spending some time exploring each of its various districts, especially the very colourful Bo-Kaap. Looking for interesting excursions? I spent 5 amazing days in Cape Town. You can easily explore the town centre by foot. In just a few minutes, you can walk from the centre's skyscrapers to the calm, quiet Company's Garden and then along to buzzing Long Street or the brightly coloured houses in the Bo-Kaap quarter.
