The Souss-Massa is 65km south of Agadir, home to one of the most beautiful of Morocco's natural reserves that stretches across 130,000 hectares.

My suggestion:
I recommend you visit Souss-Massa and its reserve during winter, when its migratory birds come to roost.
My review

The Souss-Massa National Park is one the country's best, boasting an exceptional plant and animal life. You'll spot a host of animals including gazelles, African ostriches, jackals, wild boar alongside over 300 species of bird such as falcons, pink flamingoes, gulls, herons and cormorants. Then there's the plantlife, with more than 20 native species on show.

If you're lucky you'll spot a Bald ibis, one of the rarest bird species in the world. The site is home to over 500, the biggest concentration in the world and under threat of extinction - a real treat for ornithologists!

Personally, I didn't use a guide during my tour of the reserve, but I will do next time around, so as to learn more about the incredible wildlife in this unique ecosystem.
