The lakes of Tislit ("bride" in Berber) and Isli ("bridegroom"), which lie around six miles from Tislit, are two very popular sites to visit in this region. I recommend making several stops to admire the views on the way to Lake Tislit.
I really enjoyed seeing the pastures of the High Atlas Mountains and the hosts of little flowers you every now and again here. This is a bucolic landscape, the colours of which offer a contrast to the mauve and red rocks of the plateau on which the lakes sit. Lake Tislit lies quietly amid this denuded plateau, which serves as a natural boundary between the Mid and High Atlas mountains, where only a sparse amount of vegetation is able to survive.
I found the panoramic views of Lake Tislit to be very photogenic: the lake's vast expanse of water illuminates the whole plateau, its pure blue colour contrasting with the surrounding arid landscape and rocks. Lake Tislit is such a calm and relaxing place that even the populations of birds and otters seem to enjoy being here.
