Fantastic communication with Linah from *** during the planning of our visit. The parks. The kindness and hospitality of the Malagasi people. The island and the beautiful landscape, the amazing wildlife. The faultless organization. The staff at the office, Mirinda, the great driver Gael who took such good care of us & off course Frank in Nusi be.
The beaches, the reefs, the once in a lifetime experience of swimming with the whale sharks.
Madagascar cuisine leaves a lot to be desired. The infrastructure is not really tourist oriented. The unpleasant *** lodge (which was mitigated by Linah's & Gael's ability to provide an alternative hotel at the same night).
Please note that Hotel *** beach resort in Nosy Be, while being pleasant enough, is really way off the beaten path, and you need to drive 90 minutes for going on any excursions from Ambatoloaka port.
