Bevoay is a little village in the Atsimo-Andrefana region of southwestern Madagascar. A little town in the bush, Bevoay is located on the banks of the Mangoky River and people usually visit it on a trip between Morombe and Toliara.

My suggestion:
Don't miss the panoramic view of the baobab forest.
My review

We stayed there in bivouac tents for some time on the banks before taking the ferry across the river and continuing  our tour of the Red Island. Heading towards Morombe, the road travels through baobab trees and rice fields. To the south, towards Toliara, the landscape is more arid, typical of the bush.

Not far from the village lies the beautiful Ampanonga forest and its majestic baobabs, Adansonia grandidieri, whose tree tops exceed all other plant species by far, forming a magnificent panorama dominated by these giants.
