Faliarivo is one of the villages you go through when trekking in Zafimaniry country. Perched on a rocky spur, the village dominates the surrounding area and offers a breathtaking view of the region.
My review
The landscapes are beautiful: beautiful mountains covered with vegetation with huge boulders jutting out, creating a wonderful contrast between the green of the leaves and the grey of the stone. Further down the mountain slopes, the terraces where the locals cultivate rice complete the picture.
A trek in this region will no doubt be among the best memories of your trip to Madagascar, both for the beauty of the landscapes and for the friendliness of the people. When you set out on your journey, the children will probably accompany you right up to the edges of the villages, merrily sending you off with "veloma vazaha! Goodbye vazaha! "
