Sinis peninsula is located near Oristano, on the west coast of Sardinia. It is located on the territories of Cabras and San Vero de Sinis.

My suggestion:
Sinis peninsula is an extraordinary place for a stopover with great ecological interest. Don’t hesitate to get off the paved roads and discover the reserve on foot.
My review

During my trip to Sardinia, I took the secondary road to the fishing village of San Giovanni de Sinis. The area of Sinis extends to the north. It consists of a low and sandy part and stretches to the high cliffs of Cappo Mannu. I headed in the direction of Cabras to visit the WWF reserve of Turre Seu. I followed the marked trails with illustrated panels that describe the flora and fauna and also the work done for the protection of the environment.

Then I went as far as the beach, which is formed of white and translucent grains of quartz that have been rounded by the waves. All the beaches of Sinis are like that. Then I went to Maimoni beach, which is notable for its dunes. Getting back on the road, I arrived at the beach of Is Aruttas.

I continued toward the north to discover Mari Ermi, which is situated near a small pond. Its beach is an earthly paradise and many camper vans make a stop there. Located opposite the island of Mal di Ventre, which can be explored during calm weather, the setting is superb, peaceful and wild.
