Honeymoon in Vietnam: the trip of a lifetime

Newlyweds will find that Vietnam boasts numerous honeymoon spots. Luxury hotels are abundant in towns or you can escape to the privacy of Ha Long Bay, Phu Quoc and, going further afield, Sapa. Vietnam has it all and caters for all budgets! Personalised tours can be arranged by a number of agencies.

A honeymoon on the coast

Phu Quoc, a little corner of paradise, or the slightly lesser known Cham Island. Two perfect destinations where newlyweds can relax during a holiday in Vietnam. Get pampered, unwind, laze around - they have all the feel-good factors.

Romantic holiday in the heart of nature

Dalat, also called 'Little Paris', is a charming town, filled with flowers, surrounded by lakes and waterfalls. A great place for a honeymoon. It's calm, pretty and the climate is ideal. The town boasts numerous boutique hotels and quality restaurants.

You can also spend a romantic honeymoon at Hạ Long Bay, where private junk boats are for hire. Spend a few days, cut off from the rest of the world, in a magnificent setting - an unforgettable experience. It's the perfect place for some couple time.

Honeymoon in a town

For me, Hoi An is Vietnam's most romantic town. At nightfall, lanterns cast a flickering light across the cobbled streets and river; an evening cruise is a superb way to end the day. Time stands still... There are loads of stylish hotels, both in the town as well as by the An Bang and Cua Dai beaches.

Whether it's in Hanoi, Hue or Saigon you'll find charming hotels and villas everywhere that are constantly growing in number.
