Hasankeyf is in south-eastern Turkey, a very small city containing numerous natural and human wonders. Associated with a rich, ancient history, the diverse geological and archaeological particularities definitely make this village a place to visit. You must visit Hasankeyf as quickly as possible, because a dam project will soon completely cover this little gem.

Classed under World Heritage by Unesco for its numerous Ottoman houses, Safranbolu has conserved the charm of its old cities. Famous for its saffron, it is pleasant to wander its paved streets, to admire its aqueduct or to go and explore the caves of Bulak, nearby.

It was my Turkish friends who introduced me to this small town, which lies midway along the Lycian coast in southwest Turkey. It's actually not a place where you yet find many European tourists. Kaş instead serves more as a favored vacation destination for people from Istanbul.

 <strong>Kaş is a little seaside town</strong> where it is very hot from April on. The center and the port are very touristy but cute, and you can walk happily there. Although the town is along the sea shore there are few beaches where you can bathe because there are a lot of rocks. In the distance from Kaş you admire the little Greek islands with their blue shutters, which are very close to the shore.
