Ao Nang is a district of the neighboring province and city of Krabi, located on the Andaman coast, which is famous for its beaches and steep cliffs.
My suggestion
Take time to explore the other attractions the region has to offer, beyond just its beaches. The charm of Krabi lies in its temples, its national parks and their natural pools, and its rocky peaks.
In the south of Thailand, a few kilometers from Krabi, is Ao Nang, a small colorful coastal town.
My suggestion
To explore the surroundings, I advise renting a scooter, or staying in Krabi where the prices are more affordable.

If you are staying at Ao Nang for a few days, then use the time to visit the Mu Koh Phi Phi-Nopparathara National Park. It is made up of 6 absolutely magnificent islands!
