Habarana (Sri Lanka)

In the dead centre of Sri Lanka, the little village of Habarana has really understood how to make the most of their tourism. Like many others, I had a ride on an elephant, after a lively tropical storm, which meant I got wet every time I went under the vegetation. I admit that it was quite fun.

On the other hand, I went on a trip in a small boat on the lake, and arrived at a hut in which I learnt how to prepare a traditional Sri Lankan meal, by grating coconut, mixing spices and cooking all sorts of bread by myself. I had the pleasure of sharing a meal with the woman who had offered me such wonderful hospitality, which was a fantastic memory of my trip to Sri Lanka!
