Geoje (South Korea)

Geojedo is an ideal island to discover nature in Korea and there are many trails through the mountains. In the spring, some places are carpeted in pink when the azaleas are in bloom, offering a superb display.

The island also has some very pleasant beaches for bathing, some with fine sand and others with pebbles. I rented a bike to discover the island without needing to depend on public transport and to be able to admire all the scenery at my own pace, which is convenient when you want to take photos, for example.

For art lovers, the Neungpo Yangjiam Sculpture Park in Jangseunpo is a good opportunity to discover modern sculptures related to the marine world. Go to the Geoje Natural Art Land to discover the bonsai plants and special growing techniques, including the technique of growing plants on rocks.
