Busuanga is the principal island of the Calamian archipelago, generally overlooked by tourists who will only see Coron and a few attractions of interest in the surrounding area.

My suggestion:
For those who want to step off the beaten track, hire a motorcycle, face the tracks, go far off, get lost and appreciate this wild and authentic rural environment.
My review

A lot of tourists do not know the name of the island on which the prized town of Coron is located, as if the rest of the island does not exist.

After hiring a motorcycle in Coron, I set off to discover this island that is mostly rural. Smiling villagers or children with contemplative gazes as I go past some villages, then the peacefulness of a few forests before facing the uneven tracks not used often enough.

So, even if your sports trip is directed towards diving, I suggest you take the trouble to discover Busuanga which does have a few attractive natural assets: take off on a discovery of the west, enjoy the hot springs in Makinit in the east and also go and snake your way through the mangroves on a canoe ride.

Less tiny bubbles, but you will discover the other assets of Busuanga island.
