My review

Maligcong is a small village located in the province of Bontoc, a mountainous and humid region enabling agricultural development. You'll find rice terraces on the heights of the village. The pride of the villagers is really quite an experience. Maligcong means "surrounded by rice fields". Entrance to the terraces is free, but you can call on a guide to understand better how these were built, the production cycle and also the different types of rice. In short, a good visit to get closest to the farmers' traditional way of life in the Philippines.

In this village of approximately 800 souls, you won't find any restaurants, but options to stay in the home of a local, which reinforces the feeling of closeness with the locals.
