Huasao is nicknamed a "village of sorcery" and is about 12 miles away from Cusco.

My suggestion:
Stay away if mystic practices are not your cup of tea.
My review

Do you wish to cure an illness, be luckier or even get your revenge on an unfaithful boyfriend? Rendezvous in Huasao.

Situated just 12 miles from Cusco, this village of sorcery is the hotspot of esoteric activities in Peru. On every street corner, the shamans offer to read your future according to the coca leaves or even try to protect you from bad luck in exchange for a few Peruvian soles.

In order to find this type of sorcerer, simply check out the sides of the houses. If you see 3 coca leaves on the door, then you know you are in the right place! To find out your future, you should take the coca leaves, blow on them and then throw them. Be careful not to share the words of the sorcerer with anyone, or you run the risk of receiving bad luck...

Even if you don't believe in the mystic world, it is still worth making the trip to Huasao.
