Pune (India)

Pune > is the epitome of so many large Indian cities: bustling with activity, polluted, dusty, and noisy. I have bad memories of it and cannot advise anyone to go there, not even for a stopover, during a trip to India.

When I was there in May, it was sweltering hot and that certainly didn't help me enjoy the city.

Pune is a very important university center for the country, and you'll come across many students from all over India. Without a doubt, those who love nightlife won't have any trouble finding places to go out, but beware, the way of life is not Westernized like it can be on the coast.
