When visiting India, most travelers stop briefly at Jalgaon when changing trains between the north and the south of the country, and few take the time to stop and see it. The city actually does not have much to attract travelers, in my opinion.
It is, however, a very pleasant place to be when Indian festivals, such as Holi or Diwali, are taking place and the city bursts into life. At these times, it is interesting to watch all the festivites and to join in the general jubilation.
I remember an unforgettable experience I had at one of the city-center cinemas I visited to watch a Bollywood film. There was more of the film taking place in the auditorium than on the screen itself! What a joy!
