Upon arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport, your private driver will be waiting with a sign displaying your name for easy identification. They will assist with your luggage and take you comfortably to your hotel in Rincón de la Vieja. The transfer takes approximately 5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. The horseback ride to Oropéndola Waterfall starts with a 45-minute journey along a beautiful forest trail, surrounded by lush nature and stunning scenery. The waterfall, located near the Las Pailas sector of Rincón de la Vieja National Park, drops 25 meters into a turquoise natural pool in the Blanco River canyon, creating a perfect tropical oasis for swimming and cooling off. Upon arrival, there is a short hike along uneven terrain, and part of the trail requires walking through the river to reach the base of the waterfall.
