The museum is in an annex of the hotel that is bigger than the hotel itself. It's architecture is inspired by longhouses and modern tipis. As well as the permanent and temporary exhibitions, you can find out about the spiritual life of the Wendat. Each time I take a group, the tourists have lots of questions about their beliefs. Nowadays, we realise that Colombus, Cabot, Cartier and Champlain completely ignored societies whose art, culture, matriarchal structure and depth of spirituality went unrecognised. Winter visitors can go snowshoeing in the path of caribou, which is fun, even if there is no guarantee you will meet any, and in fact it is very unlikely. After the places of remembrance, make the most of the open spaces which are quite out of the ordinary.
