Every year, during their travels in Spain, numerous holiday-makers come to sunbathe on the Costa Brava just a few kilometres from the Franco-Spanish border. However, the more adventurous amongst you, will certainly prefer to discover the south coast of Andalusia accompanied by locals or even brave the cooler waters of the Atlantic ocean in Galicia. But what if we leave the coastal crowds behind to venture further inland? Let us go to Salamanca, Spain’s little Rome, let us fly off to the beautiful medieval city of Toledo and stop over for a few days in Granada to marvel at the incredible Alhambra palace clinging to the mountainside.
