Twyfelfontein is a very lovely site,  not to be missed during a trip to Namibia , that has superb rock etchings dating back 2000 to 2500 years, that you can discover in the course of a lovely walk.

The second city of the country is much more pleasant than the capital, Windhoek. Its location by the sea gives it a more care-free and relaxed atmosphere. For me, it’s the most beautiful city in the country.

<p>During my discovery of the Kaokoland region, I was fortunate to make a <strong>&gt;detour by the Hoanib riverbed</strong> for a beautiful drive in a 4x4. I was with a group and we came across a herd of goats, led by young children and noisy dogs who gave us a warm welcome on our approach. </p> <p> <strong>Although the Hoanib River is dry,</strong> it has some vegetation, which grows on the riverbed and which stands out clearly against the more barren parts to the south. It's quite logically a place where lots of animals can be found, including the famous desert elephants which I was able to admire a little earlier in Damaraland, another <a href="/namibia/">must-see region in Namibia</a>.  </p>
