In the heart of the magnificent cedar forest of the Middle Atlas mountains, you'll find the village of Azrou, which means "rock" in Berber, taking its name from a rocky peak.
In the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains, Azrou is a relaxing, mid-sized town that is off the beaten path and perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside.
My suggestion
There is a market on Tuesday where traditional Berber rugs are sold - much cheaper and better quality than in Marrakesh or the big towns!

Plan a hike over several days with a local guide, the Middle Atlas will surprise you and you will feel the positive vibes of the mountain.
