In the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains, Azrou is a relaxing, mid-sized town that is off the beaten path and perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside.
My suggestion
There is a market on Tuesday where traditional Berber rugs are sold - much cheaper and better quality than in Marrakesh or the big towns!
Azrou is a pretty village situated in the Moroccan Middle Atlas around 90 km from Fez. It is an ideal place for beautiful walks and to meet friendly locals.

Plan a hike over several days with a local guide, the Middle Atlas will surprise you and you will feel the positive vibes of the mountain.
